Rate Plans Explained
Fixed or Variable?
Fixed or variable? When it comes to rate plans,
Walton EMC Natural Gas gives you a choice. Rest
assured that no matter which plan you choose,
you'll always enjoy competitive pricing.
Fixed
The fixed rate plan
is just that: a monthly
rate that does not
fluctuate. This gives
you peace of mind
and protects your
budget from price
spikes in the natural
gas market.
Variable
Our variable rate
plan allows you to
take advantage of
changing market
conditions. The
rate adjusts each
month, depending
on current demand
and pricing.
As for choosing a 6 or 12 month plan,
there are advantages and disadvantages
to both, depending on the market. Prices
can rise and fall at any time.
Because winter is a high-use period for
gas customers, locking in for six billing
cycles can get you through the colder
months with less commitment. However,
a 12-month plan can save you money
if
gas prices rise.
No matter which plan you choose,
you'll get a competitive price. That's
a benetfit of being a Walton EMC
Natural Gas customer.
